APPLYING FOR ADMISSION INTO CTC

If you wish to apply for one of the programs at the Central Interior Regional Career Technical Centre, please complete a Current CTC Application for Admission Form which is available from:

• Career Preparation Coordinator
• School Counsellor
• CTC Office at the Nicholson Campus
• Downloadable form (PDF)

Submit your completed Application Package to the Career Technical Centre as detailed in the Application Package.

Complete application packages include:

• A personal reference letter that supports your application

• A resume highlighting any skills or experiences related to your chosen program.

• The most recent report card/transcript - copies are available from your local school.

 Incomplete applications will not be processed.  

Qualifying students will be contacted for an interview. If you do not hear from us, contact the office to ensure your application has been received.

Remember program space is limited and subject to a selection process so applications should be submitted early in your grade 10 year. . Students in their first semester of Grade 11 who are interested in applying for a CTC program can contact the CTC office to find out if there is space available in one of the programs for February entry.

    How to Qualify

To qualify to enter the CTC program you must:

• Be enrolled in a public school in district 57 or 91.

• Have maintained a C+ or better average.

• Currently be in Grade 10 or 11.

• Have maintained good work habits with minimal absentees.

• Attend an interview and successfully be selected.

• Sign an agreement to enroll once selected.
