Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) - Foundation Level

Location: Fort St. James

Dates: October 2012 - March 2012

Be ready for the boom in the northern industrial sector !

This 22-week program prepares you for work in machine shops, sawmills, mines, construction sites, the oil and gas industry and recreational facilities.  Become skilled in the maintenance, installation, and repair of stationary industrial equipment in factories, mills, mines, production plants, and recreational facilities.  These skilled trades-people also use lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other equipment to machine parts to accurate dimensions.  Because they work in close association with instrument mechanics, pipefitters, welders, electricians, and heavy equipment mechanics, they need to be team players.

CNC graduates of this program receive an ITA certificate of completion and credit for level one technical training of their apprenticeship.
