Surface Diamond Driller's Helper

You could be trained to work as a Driller’s Helper in just 2 short weeks!
In consultation with BC drilling companies and in partnership with Northwest Community College, this training has been developed to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely and competently as a Driller’s Helper. You’ll take your training on an operating drill with significant hands-on experience and competency-based instruction.
Program Topics:
· Core recovery
· Hand and power tools
· Lifting devices and pumps
· Industry related expectations and responsibilities .
Certificates Included:
· Helicopter Safety
· Spill Response
· Chainsaw Safety
· Bear awareness
· Occupational First Aid Level 1
· Transportation Endorsement
· WHMIS
· Propane handling
· Transportation of Dangerous Goods
Admission Requirements
Applicants must:
1. Be 18 years of age or older.
2. Submit a resume and letter of reference.
3. Complete a short skills assessment.
