Adult Education - Come and learn with us!

The College of New Caledonia partners with School District 91 (Nechako Lakes) to provide an Adult Learning Centre.

Complete your:

• Grade 12 – Adult Dogwood (You may qualify for the Fast Track Program - it only takes 5 courses!  Call us for more information)
• GED – Grade 12 Equivalency Diploma
• CCP Certificates
• Upgrading and course prerequisites

You choose the courses to help you reach your goals. Your work around your job and family demands. We provide you with instruction, support and a schedule that suits your learning style. You get employability and leadership skills that help you find a job.

Adult Education Centre - Sponsorship

Tuition for Adult Education Upgrading courses is free.  Textbook and other program costs may be covered by sponsoring agencies.

Sponsorship may be available through Employment & Career Services. Interested applicants should contact the employment office for more information. In addition, First Nations organizations often sponsor their members. ABE Student Assistance Program (ABESAP) grants are available to cover textbook costs for applicants who meet the criteria.

All course work is recognized by School District #91 and the College of New Caledonia.

Adult Education Centre - Admissions Requirements

Applicants should be 18 years of age.
Placement in the program will be based on a student/instructor interview.
