Nechako Campus Career Centre (located in Vanderhoof)

 

Located in the College of New Caledonia building, the Career Centre offers free advice and assistance on planning your educational and career goals.  In addition to advising, the Nechako Career Centre also provides assessment testing, a resource library,  job board and more!

        Þ Whether you are employed, unemployed or underemployed, the staff at the Nechako Career Center can assist you in determining a path to securing a career change or improving your skills for employment.

        Þ Any career decision entails gathering information and analysis. These tasks are not easy if you are alone or do not know where to start. We can help you to understand the requirements of the educational programs that will help you to attain your career goals and guide you in understanding and completing prerequisites whether the program is delivered at CNC or at another post-secondary training institution.

        Þ There are different opportunities to apply for Funding to finance your education. Some applications are complicated, let us assist you in finding the information you need to complete the requirements of the funding source. If you experience difficulty learning or it has just been a while since you were ‘in school’, we have a vast array of supports to help you improve your study and time management skills.
