· ESL Train the Tutors - Learn the joys of tutoring in this six hour workshop. You’ll cover the skills needed to be an effective ESL tutor and learn how to develop lesson plans and set measurable goals. FREE Sat, Sept 24, 9am - 4pm

· Plain and Clear Language - A 6 hour workshop to help you learn how to create clearly written text that is direct, inclusive and focuses on the needs of the reader. Good layout and design will support and enhance the meaning of the text and make your documents easier to use.

CHILI BLANKET
Donations of blankets (new or gently used) can be dropped off at the CNC Fort St. James Campus (996-7019), the Learning Hub (996-7078) or Fireweed Safe Haven (996-8081). Donated blankets and chili will be distributed during the Festival of Lights to those in need, with any left over given to local agencies. Chili, buns, and hot chocolate will be served.
