The Learning Hub  

There is always something available at the The Learning Hub.

It is a relaxed, friendly, accessible space where adults can explore ways to learn more.

Call us or stop by for current events and to discuss upcoming opportunities or ways you can help.

The program is based in Fort St. James with outreach to the surrounding First Nation communities.

The Learning Hub is home to :

ESL English as a Second Language

FREE ESL and Literacy Programs through confidential or small group classes with trained tutors.

ESL - Train the Tutors

This one day workshop will help you gain satisfaction from teaching English as a Second Language to community members. You will learn how to develop lesson plans and set measurable goals for teaching. The training is FREE and will be a good addition to your resume, or for students; volunteer time for scholarships! DATE: TBA

OARH Organizing Against Racism & Hate

Celebrating our best in our community, we gather as a leadership group and through community events and projects. Upcoming events include cooking and a speaker series where local residents share stories of their travels and adventures. Contact Kathie for details and updates.

CALP Community Adult Literacy Program

Every Wednesday we meet as a group, for reading, short courses, friendly discussion and a light lunch. We can tutor and help you develop an individualized learning plan.
