This course is designed to give the student an introduction of the accounting process. The student will be taught a system of bookkeeping that can be used in a business office. On successful completion of this course, the student will be able to manually keep a simple set of books to trial balance.

In the field of accounting, employers require a sound understanding of accounting principles, as well as general computer literacy skills.
