Prior Learning Assessment
Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) is the assessment of knowledge, skills, and attitudes acquired through life skills, work, and study not previously associated with conventional college credit. PLA measures and evaluates what has been learned, regardless of the source of learning, and translates this into credit towards a diploma or a degree. If you need further information regarding PLA’s, refer to the College general calendar.
