Outdoor Recreation & Ecotourism Program

 The Program ------------------------------------------------------

Learn the skills necessary to work in the growing adventure tourism and recreation industries. Our nine month certificate can lead directly to a job, or you may wish to continue with your education by applying your credits towards a tourism diploma or degree. Our graduates have worked as professional guides in fishing, rafting, canoeing, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling and dogsledding. Others have worked as nature interpreters, recreation coordinators, Park information counsellors, and children's camp leaders. Some have started their own outdoor recreation businesses. For details on the program, see the program outline.
