Fee Deferrals

TUITION IS DUE…. What will you do?????

If you don’t have the money to pay for your tuition when it is due, there are two options open to you. Please read both options below to determine which one will suit your needs best.

Option 1:

You have already applied for and been approved for a Student Loan:

Step 1:  Student Receives Notice of Assessment from BCSAP

Step 2: The College of New Caledonia’s Financial Aid Department confirms the students enrollment with BCSAP and changes tuition due date to the end of the first month of the semester

Step 3: BCSAP mails loan documents to student

Step 4: Student takes loan documents with banking information to the post office for processing

Step 5: BCSAP and CSL deposit funds to student’s personal bank account

Step 6: Student comes to the Admissions Office at the College of New Caledonia and pays their tuition before the last day of September

Option 2:

You are late applying for a Student Loan or you are thinking about applying for a Student Loan but are hoping you won’t have to.

(You have until 6 weeks before the end of the semester to apply for Student Loan funding.)

Take the Following steps:

• Go to the Financial Services Office (on the 3rd Floor of the College) and apply for a tuition fee deferral.
• If you meet all of the deferral criteria you will be granted a deferral and a payment plan.
• Pay the amount in full when you receive your Student Loan funding, or continue to make your scheduled payments if your Student Loan Application is unsuccessful.
