The College of New Caledonia's 8th annual Doggie Fashion show took place on Saturday November 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the CNC Atrium.  People could enter their dog, or just bring the kids and come watch the fun! Audience entry was by donation, and all proceeds went to the SPCA.

The canine contestants competed in the following categories: Best in Show (Kids 12 and under, General 13+), Most Original (Kids 12 and under, General 13+), Best Doggie/Human Fashion Coordination (12 and under, 13+), Best Doggie Personality (Kids 12 and under, General 13+), and a special People's Choice award. There was also a Jasper Memorial Award, for a rescue/adopted/shelter dog that conducted him/herself with dignity.

The event was hosted by Shane Lochran (CKPG Funchaser) and judged by four dog-savvy community judges. Super Dog also made a guest appearance!

Prize sponsors included 4 Paws Bakery, Buster's Tasty Treats, CNC College Store, CNC Students' Union, Dog Gone Bakery, Hummus Brothers Tapas Bar, Kathi Travers, K9Kelp, Paris Jewellers, Quackers Canine Cuisine, St. John Ambulance, Worth Counselling and Yellowhead Grove Golf Course.  We also welcomed businesses who want to set up a booth in our Trade Show at the event.

Everyone was invited to bring donations for the SPCA. The SPCA provided a Wish List (above) with details on needed items. People who couldn't attend had a chance to drop off donations at the display in CNC Library and in the CNC Mailroom anytime from Monday Oct. 3-Friday Nov. 18.
