CKPG Fundraising LaunchPanago Westwood is offering CNC students and employees discounts on pick-up and delivery orders to the college and will donate a portion of the proceeds back to the college.
“We’re delighted that Panago Westwood has come on board to help our students,” said Randall Heidt, CNC Director of Communications and Development. “Panago owner Billy Janjua’s support means our nursing students can practice on equipment that they’ll use in hospitals and clinics when they graduate.”
Panago Pizza will deliver pepperoni, Hawaiian or cheese pizzas to CNC’s Prince George campus for a special price of $9.50 per large pizza, on bulk orders of five pizzas or more. Panago will then donate $1 from the sale of those pizzas towards the purchase of a pulse oximeter, a handheld device that indirectly measures the oxygen saturation in a person’s blood. CNC needs four pulse oximeters, which cost $800 each.
CNC students and employees also receive 10% off pick up orders when they show their valid college ID at Panago’s Westwood Drive location. The discount offer includes pizza, wings, breadsticks and salads. Panago will then donate 50 cents per pick-up order back to CNC.
“We are proud to be able to help put equipment in the hands of students,” said Billy Janjua, Panago Westwood owner. “These are the nurses of the future and if we can help them, we can improve the future of health care in the area and that would be very special.”
The media is invited to the official announcement and pizza party at noon Wednesday, Nov. 30, in CNC’s atrium.
