Walter Beardwood

 

Walter's responsible for maintaining a web site that's consistent while enabling users to manage information within a framework that eliminates duplication and ensures students receive the highest ease of access to information that meets their needs. He coordinates web site development and is available for training, consultation and advice on web design with the content management system and web standards.

 

Walter started his web design career at the Fraser-Fort George Regional Museum under a Industry Canada team grant. Before working at CNC, Walter spent 3 years in the paper industry training as a computer technician and three years rising to the call of webmaster for the Prince George Citizen. Walter holds a diploma in Computer Information Systems from the College of New Caledonia.

  1. Opensource fanatic! He owe's much of his training, income, and experience to opensource initiatives.
  2. Was part of a small town Elementary school group that won silver in BC Olympics of the Mind Provincials.
  3. Had his first three camera live streaming experience for worldbaseball.ca
  4. Loves mountain-biking, hacky-sack, dogs and cats, 80's and 90's music, gaming, and reading.
