It's a great time to adjust to your new school and learn how to navigate successfully in your new community. Each month you can participate in activities meant to introduce International students to new hobbies, landscapes, sports, and people. We encourage you to strike a balance with your school work and fun.
About CNC
The College of New Caledonia is a publicly funded provincially accredited community college located in British Columbia. As a mid-sized college, CNC provides you with excellent educational opportunities, personalized service, comprehensive programs in a pure English environment, and a wide range of indoor, outdoor and campus-based recreation
While it is a good idea to apply at least six months before the start of each semester, applications received up to each start date will be considered as long as there are seats available in the program of choice, and the tuition deposit is received before the start of classes.
We offer programs and courses 12 months of the year. There are THREE terms which are 4 months each. Most programs run 15 weeks, and begin at the start of the following months:
- September (to end of December) - Fall Term
- January (to end of April) - Spring Term
- May (to end of August) - Summer Term
During the Summer Term: while the ESL program functions as usual (full-time courses), some first and second year university transfer courses are not available during summer. However, many UT courses are offered in a shorter, 10 week condensed format.
If you are dealing with an agent, all correspondence and information will be sent to that agent directly. CNC regrets that we are unable to interract directly or personally with an International applicant when an agent or agency is handling the application process or file.
