At the end of March 2009, we bid a fond farewell to Marcia Timbres, who is leaving the College after more than 29 years of dedicated service.

“Over the years, Marcia has been a big part of CNC and has contributed enormously to the success and development of our students, programs, services, her colleagues and the College as a whole. She will be greatly missed. Please join me in thanking Marcia for her passion, commitment and work in support of the College. We all wish Marcia and her husband Barry all the very best in the future.” (President’s Report, Feb. 2009)

Marcia was an active advocate of literacy, serving on the Board of Literacy BC, and coordinating many local and national literacy projects.
