Jean Wilson spent many dedicated years working in the library at the College, before she retired in 1997. Colleagues were deeply saddened to learn of her passing, on June 11, 2009. It seemed fitting that friends and family who attended her celebration of life were presented with a Bookmark – something we could keep as a constant reminder of her calm, cheerful and thoughtful presence. Best wishes go to the family, and especially to her daughters, Cat, Karen (Grant), Janice (Allen) and Trish.

On Thursday, June 11, 2009 Jean lost her battle with cancer. She is sadly missed and will be forever in our hearts.
Jean loved to spend time with her loved ones and friends. She really enjoyed relaxing by the pool and took great pleasure digging in her garden. She loved to spend time with her dog Robbie and watch the birds at the bird feeder.
Another of Jean’s favorite things to do was to play golf and travel with Dave and their friends. They went to all sort of R.V./Golf resorts and spent many happy hours together.
Jean was the calm, steady presence in the family. She was always cheering for the underdog.
Jean spent many dedicated years working in the library at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George. Jean met some wonderful people there and she really enjoyed her job.
Jean has joined her beloved husband Dave and they are together forever in eternity.
