Community Services

The College of New Caledonia, Mackenzie Campus is an integral member of the community with many of the staff being members of various boards and community committees. Our staff have representation at a variety of levels from local government committees, to Chamber of Commerce, to social service support services, recreational groups, and advisory boards.

Volunteer Hub

CNC Mackenzie participates in a variety of community events including but not limited to: Trade Fairs, Education Fairs, United Way Fundraising events, Rotary Duck Drop, Rotary Festival of Trees, and District of Mackenzie sponsored events such as Mineral North Exposition.

CNC in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and the District of Mackenzie support the Mackenzie Volunteer Hub initiative. The Volunteer Hub is the heartbeat of our community’s volunteer sector. At CNC we pride ourselves in being a key service provider through our WorkBC partnership. CNC Mackenzie holds a contract with the province to provide Employment Services that support the unemployed and / or under employed population in our service catchment. Our catchment includes the communities of Mackenzie, McLeod Lake, Kwadacha and Tsay Keh.
