Welcome to the Fort St. James - Nechako Region Campus
The College of New Caledonia in Fort St. James is part of the larger CNC- Lakes Nechako Region. Fort St. James and the surrounding area which includes the Traditional Territories and communities of the Nak’azdli First Nation, Tl’azt’en Nation, Takla Lake First Nation, Yekooche First Nation, and Binche Keyoh and is also considered Electoral Area C of the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako - which covers an area over 25,000 square kilometres.
The campus is comprised of a main campus building plus several other buildings in the community of Fort St. James providing a wide range of programs. We also regularly offer programs in neighboring Aboriginal communities as well as to various organizations and businesses. The Fort St. James campus has recently been recognized by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) for innovative work as part of the Targeted Initiative for Older Worker Program, which now has over one-hundred and fifty graduates in the Fort St. James area alone.
