Babysitter’s Training - Redcross

Learn basic child care, accident prevention, first aid and how to handle emergency situations and receive a certificate upon successful completion. This program is based on the Red Cross Youth Society curriculum. Students are required to bring pencil, baby doll, bottle, baby clothing and a nutritious bag lunch to class. For youth 11 years old and older.

Home Alone

The Home Alone Program is designed to provide children 10 years of age and older with the necessary skills and knowledge to be safe and responsible when home alone for short periods of time. It will help them understand how to prevent problems, handle real-life situations, and keep them safe and constructively occupied. The course material covers establishing a routine, house key responsibility, strangers, telephone, emergencies, basic first aid, and internet safety.

Occupational First Aid - Level 1

Topics include AED, C-spine control, respiratory and circulatory emergencies, minor soft tissue injuries, accurate completion of the required documentation, identification and management of stroke, diabetes, seizures and fainting. Students receive their OFA Level 1 tickets, valid for 3 years, upon successful completion of a written exam and practical evaluation by the instructor. Participants must be 16 years of age. Photo ID required.

Occupational First Aid – Transportation Endorsement
