Prince George Campus

Program begins January

  • Spring Term: Semester 1 classes January– May
  • Spring Study Break: 2 weeks March
  • Fall Term: Semester 2 classes August – December
  • Fall Study Break: 1 week October
  • Spring Term: Semester 3 classes January - May
  • Practicum: June to May

Note: The practicum is spent applying theory to practice at clinical training sites throughout BC. To ensure a comprehensive practicum, there will be at least one rotation between sites. During the practicum, you can expect to work an average of 40 hours per week (may include early or late shifts and some weekends). Your progress will be evaluated using competency-based objectives and theory exams

  • University Hospital of Northern BC- Prince George, BC
  • Penticton Regional Hospital- Penticton, BC
  • Bulkley Valley & District Hospital- Smithers, BC
  • Vernon Jubilee Hospital- Vernon, BC
