What you'll learn

Apprenticeship technical training is designed for students who are working in the industry and have been registered as an apprentice through the Industry Training Authority. CNC offers three levels of technical training for the Plumbing program on a rotational basis.

If you're not working in the industry, you can start your education by taking the foundation level program for Plumbing.

PLMG 250 Level 2

Duration: 6 weeks

In this level you will use plumbing tools and equipment; organize work; install sanitary and storm drainage systems; install fixtures and appliances; install hydronic heating and cooling systems; and install specialized systems like medical gas and compressed air.

PLMG 350 Level 3

Duration: 6 weeks

In this level you will organize work; install water services and distribution; Install fixtures and appliances; install specialized systems such as fire protection systems; and install natural gas and propane systems.

PLMG 450 Level 4

Duration: 8 weeks

In this level you will organize work; install sanitary and storm drainage; install private sewage systems; install water service and distribution; install hydronic heating and cooling systems; apply plumbing principles, including codes, regulations and standards; and install natural gas and propane systems.
