  Recipient Eligibility:   
  1. HOW TO BE A RECIPIENT 

  No purchase is necessary. To receive the $50, sign up and be selected to participate in a College of New Caledonia 2026 Web UX online focus group session. Available from the College of New Caledonia or social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn. To provide your consent to be a recipient, sign up and be selected to participate in one of the online focus group sessions and add your contact information to the fields provided. To be a valid recipient, you must sign up and be selected to join one of the Website UX Focus Groups taking place between April 13, 2026, and April 24, 2026.      

  2. ELIGIBILITY    
   
  Only future and current students of CNC aged 16 or older who sign up and are selected to participate in the 2026 Web UX online focus group session are eligible to receive $50. For any recipient who has not reached the age of maturity, parent or guardian consent is necessary. Where appropriate, the terms “recipient” mean parent or guardian of that person.   

  CNC staff and faculty, donors, alumni, and parents/guardians are not eligible to receive $50. However, they are encouraged to sign up and participate in the 2026 Web UX online focus group if selected.  

  The College of New Caledonia reserves the right to cancel the $50 or modify these rules at its discretion.  The College of New Caledonia’s decisions will be final.   
   
  3. RECIPIENT DETERMINANT  
   
  Recipients will be determined by eligibility and participation. All eligible participants who signed up, are selected, and participate in a 2026 Web UX online focus group between April 13, 2026, and April 24, 2026, will receive the $50. Recipients will be contacted by email.  

  4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE  
   
  There are multiple prizes of $50 each, to be awarded. 

  5. GENERAL RULES  

  5.1 This activity is null and void where prohibited by law. Any dispute regarding the organizing or conduct of this activity may be submitted to the College of New Caledonia at 3330 22 Ave, Prince George, BC V2N 1P8.  

  5.2 College of New Caledonia is not responsible for computer systems, hardware, software, or program malfunctions or other errors, failures or delayed computer transactions or network connections that affect the contest or your participation in it.   

  5.3 College of New Caledonia reserves the right to disqualify any potential recipient who does not comply with the activity rules. If after awarding the $50, a recipient is disqualified or determined to be ineligible; an alternate eligible recipient will be selected using the same process described above. Alternate recipients are subject to all activity rules.   

  5.4 The $50 prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged or refunded for an amount of money. No substitution will be allowed. Any unused portion of the prize will be forfeited.   

  5.5 If the $50 prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, College of New Caledonia reserves the right to substitute all or part of the $50 with another prize of comparable value.    

  5.6 College of New Caledonia reserves the right to amend the activity rules or to terminate the activity or award of $50 at any time without liability to any eligible recipient.   
    
  5.7 All personal information, such as name, ID number and/or email address, collected by College of New Caledonia will be used only for the purposes of administering the activity.

  Contest Eligibility:   
  1. HOW TO ENTER  

  No purchase is necessary. To enter the contest, complete the College of New Caledonia 2026 Web UX Survey, available from the College of New Caledonia or social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn. To provide your consent to be entered, complete the survey and add your contact information to the fields provided. Limit of one entry per person. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. For your entry to be valid, you must complete the survey between April 10, 2026, and April 21, 2026.      

  2. ELIGIBILITY    

  The contest is open to all future and current students of CNC aged 16 or older. For any entrant who has not reached the age of maturity, parent or guardian consent is necessary to enter the Contest. Where appropriate, the terms “contestant” and “winner” mean parent or guardian of that person.   

  The contest is not open to directors, faculty, and employees of the College of New Caledonia. College of New Caledonia reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion.   

  College of New Caledonia’s decisions will be final.   

  3. WINNER SELECTION   

  The winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible participants who completed the 2026 Web UX Survey between April 10, 2026, and April 21, 2026.  One future student and one current student of CNC will be selected. The winner will be contacted by email.  

  4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE  

  There is one (1) prize to be won: Amazon Gift Card valued at $250.

  5.8 The winner shall sign a release declaring their eligibility as described in section 2 of these rules; agreeing that their name and image may be used for promotional purposes related to this contest and promotion of College of New Caledonia free of charge; and releasing College of New Caledonia from all liability for any damage or loss arising from participation in this Contest or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the prize.
