Choosing the right program for you
Test drive college by taking courses while attending high school
Dual Credit is an opportunity for high school students to begin post-secondary programs and courses while they are still in high school. This option is available for grade 11 & 12 students in good academic standing.
Are you ready to test your own job aptitude?
Based on your results, this online self-assessment test will help uncover occupations best suited to you. When you have your results, check which programs below might be a good fit.
Meeting Prerequisites & Upgrading
You must ensure you meet the course prerequisite and co-requisite requirements before enrolling in courses. Prerequisites are listed with each course description in the Academic Calendar. Our Student Success Advisors are here to help you create your strategic educational plan. Whether you need assistance meeting prerequisites or upgrading credits, our advisors will listen to your questions and share their insights and expertise.
Switching programs
Students who wish to change programs can do so by applying to the new program. The application fee will still apply, and you must meet the entrance requirements for that program. If you meet these requirements and there is space in the program, you may be offered a seat.
To graduate from a program, you must meet specific academic requirements, including the successful completion of courses. Some of the courses you have taken in a previous program may count for credit in a different program. You may review them with an advisor.
Transferring credits
Transfer credit allows students to apply their previous post-secondary studies toward a new credential at a different institution. For detailed information on course transfers and how they may apply between institutions, consult the BC Transfer Guide.
Graduating
All students in credential programs need to complete the Apply to Graduate form, even if you do not plan on attending convocation.
Study Permit Extension
